Er... If it makes you feel better, I kinda wish it would end, too. And by "it" I mean these vague random chapters that... DAMN IT I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THEY JUMPED INTO THE HARBOUR.
And I while I love, love, LOVE wee!Minoru and w00bie!Makoto I just find these bits and pieces frustrating given where she left us at the end of V6 :(
About the only thing I can see is that Kasai's reflections have to do with his conversation with Kubota earlier about how Kubota is sort of Tokito's parent/guardian and it bothers Kubota that Tokito gets up to stuff that he doesn't know about.
